GO Flange Range Socket Weld ANSI 150 Carbon Steel B16.5

A pipe flange is a disc, collar or ring that attaches to pipe with the purpose of providing increased support for strength, blocking off a pipeline or implementing the attachment of more items. They are usually welded or screwed to the pipe end and are connected with bolts.

A Socket Weld Flange is similar to a slip-on flange, but a lip supports the pipe while welding. Socket Weld Flanges are available up to 50mm (2") and are used with air, water, oil, natural gas, or steam.  They are Counter-bored to accept the pipe before being fillet welded.  Flange and pipe bore are the same, to enhance flow characteristics

  • Materials - ASTM A105M
  • Dimensions - ASME B16.5

  • Oil, Gas, Petrochemical.

  • All Flanges when possible will display a heat number, size, table, grade and dimensional standard.

    Forged Steel Flanges

    • Forged Steel flanges are commonly used and specified in the Oil, Gas, Petrochemical and mining sectors, where pressure, temperature and safety considerations often specify the ANSI B16.5, ASME B16.47 or BS4504 standards.
    • The manufacturing method involves the hot forging of suitable steels prior to final machining.
