Ole T4000-240PR Day Tank Controller
Overview
The OLE T4000-240PR Day Tank Controller is a cost effective yet reliable instrument commonly used to control the operation of Generator Day Tanks. The T4000-240PR is suitable for use with Diesel. Four Inputs are used for pump control and fail safe. The four inputs are commonly set at Low Low / Low / High / High High.
The Low level input starts the pump and will keep the pump running until the high level input is triggered. In the event that the pump fails to start the low low level input will attempt to stop the pump, it will trigger the audible alarm and will signal a BMS system if connected.
Conversely in the event that the pump fails to stop the high high level input will attempt to stop the pump, it will trigger an audible alarm and will signal also a BMS if connected.
Up to 4 OLE B8 Float Switches are required for use with the OLE T4000-240PR Day Tank Controller. These are purchased separately allowing for customisation of the application of this innovative instrument.

- In the event that pump fails to stop the high high level input will trigger the audible alarm and will signal a BMS system if connected.
- Pump relay is 240V, 6 A rated.
- LED indicators change colour to indicate status of system.
- Power supply 240V
- Uses up to 4 float switches, not provided, which come with a 1” BSPT male tank fitting.
- Can be connected to an OLE C2020 or T5020 tank gauge which must have relay boards fitted.
- Maximum tank height 4m.
- The enclosures are IP65 rated and are suitable for outdoor use.
- Can be used for hazardous area installation if suitable barriers are incorporated into the switch input circuits.
- Inputs can be from cabled float switches or from rigid multi float probes.
- Pump Control is achieved by jumper selection to latch the pump connection output between Low and High. This results in a simple day tank controller. There is a High High Fail safe circuit available. One Unit does it all.
