FAQs

Common questions answered.

Five of the questions we hear most often on carpark and street linemarking gear. Full knowledge base on our FAQ page.

  • What access equipment do you stock?

Our current range includes heavy-duty safety step stools designed for trade use, rated for professional working loads with non-slip surfaces and stable wide-base designs. We are expanding this range to include work platforms, step ladders, and mobile scaffold systems. Contact our team for current availability.

  • What should I look for in a safety step stool?

Key features include a stable wide base that resists tipping, non-slip platform and feet, a working load rating of 120-150kg for trade use, and durable construction for daily job site handling. Height selection depends on your typical working reach requirements.

  • Do I need a step stool or a ladder?

Step stools suit tasks requiring brief elevated access at low heights, typically under 600mm. They provide a stable, hands-free platform ideal for painting ceilings and overhead maintenance. Ladders and work platforms are more appropriate for greater heights or longer working duration.

  • Are your step stools compliant with Australian standards?

Our safety step stools are designed to meet Australian workplace safety requirements for portable access equipment, with rated load capacities, non-slip surfaces, and stable base designs appropriate for professional trade use.

  • What height access equipment do I need for industrial work?

For work platforms up to 2 m, industrial step ladders or platform steps are standard. For 2-6 m, extension ladders or mobile scaffolds provide stable access for painting, maintenance and installation tasks. Above 6 m, modular scaffold towers or elevated work platforms (EWPs) are required. All height access equipment used on Australian worksites must comply with AS/NZS 1892 (portable ladders) and AS/NZS 4576 (scaffolding guidelines).
