Purpose-Built to the Millimetre | GO x CEA Petroleum’s Custom Lubrication System for Coates’ New Workshop
When Coates developed their new heavy equipment service facility in Kingston, an off-the-shelf solution wouldn't do. They needed a comprehensive lubrication facility engineered to their exact specifications: a system built for maximum efficiency, safety, and reliability. GO Industrial was tasked with designing and installing a complete, ground-up solution where every component was planned and placed with precision.
The Challenge
The new workshop required a fully integrated system to service large machinery like rollers and boom lifts. This meant providing seamless access to oil, coolant, grease, and compressed air, while maintaining absolute safety and a pristine work environment. The key challenge was to custom-fabricate a solution that would fit perfectly within the designated architectural footprint, particularly the compact, purpose-built pump room.

A Solution Engineered to Fit
Our team engineered a comprehensive solution where every element was tailored to the space.
-
Safety-First Pump Room: At the core of the installation is a custom-built, fireproof IBC stand, providing a secure space for bulk fluids. We fabricated stands designed to the millimetre to maximize the constrained space. Inside, reliable Piusi pumps are equipped with pressure relief valves set to 23 bars and regulators, protecting the pipework and ensuring precise, safe fluid delivery.

-
Efficient Dispensing & Waste Management: A custom-fabricated, bunded hose reel stand provides centralized access to all fluids and air. This clever design streamlines servicing, captures drips, and serves as a direct disposal point for waste oil. Waste is then automatically pumped to a 5,000-litre storage tank equipped with a two-stage alarm (yellow at 80%, red with an audible alert at 90%) to prevent spills.

-
Quality Reticulation: Durable stainless steel Impress pipe was used for all fluid lines, while a Blue Tube airline in a ring main configuration was routed to follow the building's unique layout. This choice guarantees longevity and optimal flow for both liquids and compressed air.
The Outcome
The result is a clean, safe, and highly efficient workshop where every component works in harmony because it was designed to. This purpose-built system, driven by precision from start to finish, minimises downtime and empowers technicians to perform services quickly and effectively.
