FAQs

Common questions answered.

Five of the questions we hear most often on carpark and street linemarking gear. Full knowledge base on our FAQ page.

  • Why automated fluid management?

Manual tracking has 5-15% shrinkage on fleet sites. Automated systems (Piusi MC Box, Self-Service 2.0) give RFID-key access control, per-driver/vehicle tracking, automated dispense logging, inventory reconciliation. Pays back in 12-24 months on most fleet sites of 10+ vehicles.

  • What does OCIO measure?

Piusi OCIO is continuous tank-level monitoring - know fuel + lubricant stock in real time, automate reorder, prevent run-outs. Outputs to display panel + remote monitoring software. Pair with Fozmula GLL gauges for the full tank monitoring spec.

  • Multi-fluid sites?

Critical for sites running diesel + AdBlue + multiple lubricants - separate measurement per tank, separate access control per fluid type, separate dispensing nozzle keyed to fluid (no cross-contamination). Piusi Self-Service 2.0 covers multi-fluid + multi-user scenarios.

  • How can a fluid management system improve my workshop's operational efficiency?

A great fluid management system is a total significant upgrade for boosting your workshop's efficiency. It's all about streamlining your processes and cutting out wasted time and resources. By accurately tracking and dispensing fluids, you can say goodbye to manual logging and guesswork, freeing up your team to focus on more productive tasks. A proper system ensures fluids are delivered quickly and precisely where they are needed, slashing job times. Plus, it drastically reduces spills and contamination, which means less time spent on cleanup and a safer, more organised workspace. It’s all about working smarter by making your fluid handling faster, cleaner, and more accountable. • What connection types and thread standards are used with fluid management?

Australian fluid handling equipment predominantly uses BSP (British Standard Pipe) threads in sizes from 1/4" to 3" BSP. Some imported equipment uses NPT (National Pipe Thread) — adapters are available but check thread type before connecting. Cam-lock fittings (Type A through F) are standard for quick-connect hose couplings on tanks and bowsers. Flanged connections (ANSI 150#, AS 4087 Table D/E) are used on larger installations. Always verify thread type, size and pressure rating before assembly to prevent cross-threading or leaks.

Fluid Management Systems

27 fluid management systems for fleet, mining, transport and workshop fuel + lubricant + AdBlue tracking. Piusi MC Box, Self-Service 2.0, OCIO tank gauging, monitoring + access control kits.

Why fluid management. Manual fuel + lubricant tracking has shrinkage rates of 5-15 percent on fleet sites. Automated fluid management (Piusi MC Box, Self-Service systems) gives RFID-key access control, individual driver/vehicle tracking, automated dispense logging and inventory reconciliation. Pays back in 12-24 months on most fleet sites of 10+ vehicles.

OCIO tank gauging. Piusi OCIO and Fozmula GLL gauges give continuous tank-level monitoring - know fuel + lubricant stock in real time, automate reorder, prevent run-outs. Critical for sites with multiple tanks (different fluid types) where running out mid-shift causes downtime.
