  • How do I know which water purification system is right for my specific cleaning needs?

    Choosing the right water purification system really boils down to two key things: the type of cleaning you do and the water quality in your service area. First, think about your main jobs. If you primarily clean windows and solar panels, achieving a spot-free rinse is your top priority, making a DI or RO/DI system essential. For general pressure cleaning on hard surfaces like concrete, pure water isn't as critical, but it can still help reduce spotting on certain facades.

    Next, you need to know your local water hardness, or Total Dissolved Solids (TDS). You can check this easily with a simple TDS meter. If your water is soft (under 100-150 ppm), a straightforward Deionisation (DI) system is a quality, lightweight, and cost-effective option. However, if you're dealing with hard water (high TDS), a Reverse Osmosis system is the way to go. It does the heavy lifting to remove most minerals, making your DI resin last much longer and keeping your running costs down.

  • How do I maintain water purification for long service life?

    After each use, flush clean water through the system and wipe down external surfaces. Inspect hoses, fittings and o-rings for wear or cracking before each use. Change pump oil per the OEM schedule (typically every 50-100 hours for petrol units). Store indoors or under cover to prevent UV degradation of hoses and seals. For seasonal storage, run a pump-saver solution through the system to prevent mineral buildup and corrosion. Replace worn nozzles before they affect spray pattern — a worn nozzle increases water consumption and reduces cleaning efficiency.
