Product details

The GO Fuel Trailer is a cost-effective 1,000 L standard duty self bunded trailer for transporting and dispensing diesel. The SBSD1000 is designed for metropolitan and smaller construction sites where roads are generally well maintained, and where conditions do not warrant the heavy duty SBHD1250 low profile model. A separate tank and chassis design isolates towing vibration and road stress from the tank body, and the fully baffled 110% tank-in-tank prevents fuel surge under braking, acceleration and cornering. The hot dip galvanised dual-axle chassis runs roller/rocker suspension on 195/15 LT tyres with Sunraysia rims and a spare, mechanical override brakes need no in-cab controller, and a drawbar pump mount with a 316 stainless steel protection frame is provided. A tow-and-leave setup gives three suction points with foot valves to retain prime and three rear return points to couple directly to stationary diesel engines. It is designed and approved to AS1692, AS1940 and the Australian Dangerous Goods Code, with more than 10 years of proven service. This is a bare trailer; a pump kit is not included.

Features
  • Tank and Chassis: Separate tank and chassis design lets the self bunded tank module sit independently, isolating towing vibration and road stress and allowing removal for maintenance.

  • Baffled Tank: Internal baffles keep the trailer stable when towing loaded and prevent fuel surge under braking, acceleration and cornering.

  • 110% Bunded: True 110% self bunded tank-in-tank design with a removable inner tank and a bunded fill point that captures drips during refilling.

  • Galvanised Chassis: Hot dip galvanised dual-axle chassis with roller/rocker suspension, 195/15 LT tyres on 5-stud Sunraysia rims and a spare on a dedicated mount.

  • Override Braking: Mechanical override braking needs no in-cab controller and can be towed by any suitably rated vehicle.

  • Pump Mount: Heavy-duty galvanised drawbar mounting pad with a 316 stainless steel protection frame.

  • Tow and Leave: Three suction connection points with foot valves to retain prime and three rear return points to couple directly to stationary diesel engines.

  • Security: Lockable tank module and a calibrated aluminium dipstick, with an optional mechanical dial-type level indicator and spare ports for instrumentation.

FAQs

Common questions.

What is the SBSD1000 best suited for?
Metropolitan and smaller construction site applications where roads are generally well maintained. For rougher off-road or primary site use, the heavy duty SBHD1250 low profile model is the better choice.
What braking system does the SBSD1000 use?
Mechanical override brakes, no in-cab controller required. When the tow vehicle brakes, a mechanical system applies the trailer brakes proportionally. The trailer can be towed by any suitably rated vehicle.
Can I fill the trailer directly from a tanker?
Yes. The bunded fill point on top of the tank accepts a standard tanker hose connection, with an anti-static fill tube and removable inspection hatch. The bunded surround captures any spills during filling per AS1940 requirements.
What dispensing options can I mount?
Common options include a 12V solar dispensing package or an electric-start diesel-driven pump kit. The drawbar mounting pad has a 316 stainless steel protection frame. Talk to us about matching the kit to your flow rate.
Can I couple the trailer to a generator or lighting tower?
Yes. Three suction connection points (with foot valves to retain prime) and three return points are located at the rear for quick connection to stationary diesel engines: generators, lighting towers, compressors, pumps.
How is fuel theft prevented?
The self bunded tank module is lockable. A calibrated aluminium dipstick monitors contents, with an optional mechanical dial-type level indicator available.
What is the tare weight?
990 kg. Gross weight fully loaded with diesel is approximately 1,840 kg. Confirm your tow vehicle's GVM and rating before ordering.
What safety equipment do I need to carry?
Minimum 4.5 kg dry chemical fire extinguisher must travel with the trailer. Display correct Hazchem and dangerous goods placards during road transport per ADG Code requirements.
