  • Which pump or repair kit fits my LineLazer unit?

    Pumps and repair kits are unit-specific. Match by your model:

  • Endurance Chromex piston-only or full pump replacement?

    Piston-only (24W997) for service-interval replacement when the pump body and packings are still in good condition. Lower cost, faster service, less downtime. Full pump (24B748 piston pump or 17C720 Endurance Replacement Kit) when the body is worn, the manifold is damaged, or the packings + piston are both beyond rebuild. As a working rule, swap the piston at every major service interval and replace the full pump only when piston-only no longer restores pump performance.

  • How do I extend pump rebuild interval?

    Run Pump Armour 1 gallon (Graco 245133) at the end of every shift. This is the single biggest determinant of pump rebuild interval on infrequent-use units. The end-of-shift workflow is: drain remaining paint, run a clean-water flush on waterborne or appropriate solvent on solvent paint, fill the pump with Pump Armour, store with the pump primed. Skipping Pump Armour is the most common cause of full-pump-rebuild service jobs.

  • What is in a packing repair kit?

    The UHMWPE and PTFE Packings Repair Kit (222875) contains the upper and lower packing sets, packing nut, and seals needed for a full pump packing rebuild. UHMWPE (ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene) and PTFE are the chemical-resistant plastics that handle waterborne and solvent line marking paint. The kit is unit-matched to the Graco Endurance Chromex pump family. Replace at the service interval, or earlier if you are seeing pump bypass (paint pressure dropping during continuous spray) or visible packing leak.

  • Are these pumps and kits genuine Graco?

    Yes, supplied as genuine Graco-spec components and carrying the Graco parts warranty. Aftermarket lookalikes typically fail on packing life, piston wear and seal compatibility with waterborne and solvent paint. The Endurance Chromex pump and matched repair kits are precision parts engineered around the LineLazer pump pressure and flow specs; aftermarket alternatives compromise that. For council and contractor work, genuine Graco is the right call.

Choosing the Right Pump or Repair Kit

The pump is the heart of every Graco LineLazer line striper. Pump rebuild kits and full replacement pumps are unit-matched: the kit for a LineLazer 3400 is not the same as the kit for a V 200HS HP Reflective. Pick by unit class first, then by whether you need a packing rebuild, a piston replacement, or a full pump.

Endurance Chromex full replacement pumps. The Graco Endurance Pump Replacement Kit (17C720) is the full-pump replacement for the LineLazer ES, 3400 and V family. The Endurance Pump 17C718 is the matched fitment for the LineLazer 3400. The Endurance Chromex Piston Pump (24B748) is the full piston-pump assembly. The Endurance Chromex Piston Replacement Pump (24W997) is the piston-only service replacement at lower cost than a full pump. Run Pump Armour at end of every shift to extend rebuild interval.

Multi-unit pump for V 200HS, V 250SPS, V 250DC. The Graco Pump 200HS / 250SPS / 250DC (246341) is the matched pump fitment for the V 200HS HP Auto, V 200HS HP Reflective, V 250SPS and V 250DC unit class. Single SKU covers all four unit variants in this production tier.

Repair kits unit-matched. The Graco LineLazer V 3900 Pump Repair Kit (277069), V 5900 Pump Repair Kit (277070), and 130HS Pump Repair Kit (288471) are unit-specific top-end and packing rebuilds, order by your unit serial. The general LineLazer V Pump Repair Kit (277068, 287834, 238793, 24Z731 displacement) covers other LineLazer V variants. The UHMWPE and PTFE Packings Repair Kit (222875) is the standard packing kit for waterborne and solvent paint use.

Service note. End-of-shift Pump Armour flushing extends pump rebuild interval significantly. Skipping Pump Armour is the single biggest cause of full-pump-rebuild service jobs on infrequent-use units. Order the matched repair kit on first delivery so the unit is not down on a leaking pump during a council shift. When in doubt, give us the unit serial number and we will pull the matched pump or kit.
