  • Why portable ventilator fans?

  • Forced-air or radiant heater?

    Forced-air for open warehouse or factory floor - heats large air volume. Radiant for localized worker zones - heats objects and bodies directly, not air. Electric for small enclosed spaces where gas exhaust is not safe.

  • Gas heater ventilation?

    Gas heaters produce CO (carbon monoxide) as a combustion byproduct. Check building ventilation when running gas heaters - CO build-up in tight workshops is a real risk. Open large garage doors or use forced ventilation when gas heaters are operating.

  • How should I maintain my industrial fans and heaters for best performance?

    Keeping your industrial fans and heaters in top shape is super easy and makes a massive difference to their lifespan and performance. For any industrial fan, the key is keeping the blades and guards clean. A regular wipe-down prevents dust build-up, which can unbalance the fan and reduce airflow. It’s also a great idea to check for any loose fittings or bolts, especially on a heavy-duty warehouse fan that runs constantly. For an industrial heater, always ensure the air intakes are clear of dust and debris to prevent overheating and maintain efficiency. Before storing them away for the season, give them a thorough clean and check cords for any damage.   • What type of industrial fan is suited to a workshop or warehouse?

    For workshops under 200 m2, a 450-600 mm pedestal or drum fan provides directional airflow for worker cooling. For warehouses over 200 m2, 900 mm floor fans or large-diameter drum fans deliver high-volume air movement. Industrial fan heaters (3-15 kW) combine heating and air circulation for cold-weather workshops. Portable ventilation fans (300-450 mm) are used for confined-space extraction and drying applications. Choose based on floor area, ceiling height and whether heating is also required.
