Drive Units.

GO Industrial supplies line marking drive units that attach to existing line marking machines for self-propelled operation. These units reduce operatorg line marker, transforming it into a ride-on machine for maximum efficiency. Built for reliable performance in demanding industrial applications, these durable add-ons are precision tools that reduce operator fatigue and boost productivity on large-scale projects. Get through major jobs faster and with greater comfort, ensuring consistent, professional results every time.

FAQs

Common questions answered.

Five of the questions we hear most often on carpark and street linemarking gear. Full knowledge base on our FAQ page.

  • What is a Graco LineDriver?

A LineDriver is a Graco ride-on attachment that connects to the front of a Graco LineLazer (or FieldLazer, GrindLazer, ThermoLazer) unit and turns the unit into a self-propelled ride-on platform. The operator sits on the LineDriver, controls speed via foot pedals (HD variants) or throttle (ES variant), and drives the line marker forward at 16 km/h with regenerative braking and reverse. LineDrivers reduce operator fatigue on long shifts and let one operator run paint, bead and pattern control without walking.

  • Should I get an ES (battery) or HD (petrol) LineDriver?

ES (battery) wins on indoor work, after-hours carpark restripes, and sites where engine noise is restricted. The 12-hour Eco-Mode runtime covers a full council shift on a single charge cycle. HD (petrol) wins on extended remote work, civil construction, and any operator who would rather refuel from a jerry can than manage battery charging logistics. Both deliver 16 km/h forward / 10 km/h reverse and dual foot pedals.

  • Will a LineDriver fit my LineLazer?

Most modern Graco line stripers (LineLazer V, FieldLazer ES, GrindLazer, ThermoLazer, TapeLazer) accept the LineDriver. The LineDriver ES (25U671) attaches to LineLazer, FieldLazer, and GrindLazer. The LineDriver HD Electric Start (25U474) fits LineLazer V, GrindLazer, ThermoLazer, and TapeLazer. The LineDriver HD 200 (262005) is the budget pull-start option compatible with the same unit. Tell us your LineLazer model and we will confirm fitment.

  • Do I need a Conditional Registration Kit?

Yes, if the LineDriver will cross or travel on public roads as part of the work day. Each Australian state has its own conditional registration scheme for non-standard vehicles. The Graco LineDriver Conditional Registration Kit (LBRKT) provides the lighting, indicators and reflectors required to obtain conditional registration. We can advise on the application process and the kit installation; the customer is responsible for completing the registration with their state authority.

  • How much runtime do I get from a LineDriver ES?

Up to 12 hours in Eco-Mode on three lithium 24V/50Ah batteries. Heavier-load operation (full speed, hilly site, frequent direction changes) reduces this to 6-8 hours. Charging is via a standard 240V mains outlet overnight; spare battery sets can extend continuous operation. Smart Drive regenerative braking returns energy to the battery during deceleration, extending effective runtime on stop-start council and carpark work.

Choosing the Right LineDriver Ride-On Attachment

A LineDriver is a Graco ride-on attachment that converts any LineLazer, FieldLazer, GrindLazer or ThermoLazer unit into a self-propelled ride-on platform. The right unit depends on whether you need battery (no fuel handling, indoor capable) or petrol (longer continuous runtime, no charge cycles), and whether you need road-registration for the LineDriver to cross public roads between job sites.

LineDriver ES (battery, 25U671). Three lithium 24V/50Ah batteries deliver up to 12 hours of runtime in Eco-Mode with Smart Drive regenerative braking. 16 km/h forward, 10 km/h reverse, dual 12V power outlets, integrated storage shelf. Quietest option for indoor warehouse or after-hours carpark work. Compatible with LineLazer, FieldLazer, and GrindLazer units.

LineDriver HD with Electric Start (25U474). Vanguard 6.5 HP petrol with electric start. Dual foot pedals for fine speed control. Fits LineLazer V, GrindLazer, ThermoLazer, and TapeLazer. The choice for contractors who need engine-on-immediately at the start of every shift without battery management.

LineDriver HD 200 (262005, pull-start). Honda GX 200cc, 6.5 HP, 16 km/h forward / 10 km/h reverse, 0.95 gal (3.6 L) fuel, oil-alert, Cool-Comfort Seat, Flex Beam LED. Lower capex than the electric-start variant and the standard council and contractor pick. Pull-start matches Honda's reliability over thousands of cycles.

Conditional Registration Kit. For council and contractor work on public roads, the Graco LineDriver Conditional Registration Kit (LBRKT) provides the lighting, indicators and reflectors required to obtain conditional registration. Each Australian state has its own conditional registration scheme; we advise on the application process and the kit installation, while the customer completes registration with their state authority.
