  • Service life?

    4-12 hours of cutting on concrete depending on aggregate hardness + coating. Replace at spec wear interval - dull cutters drop production rate + leave inconsistent profile.

  • 4-point vs 6-point cutter?

    More points = more cut per rotation but each point takes a smaller bite. 4-point for heavy material removal (deeper bite). 6-point for finer profile + smoother surface.

  • Can I change cutters in the field?

    Yes, Graco designs their cutter assemblies for straightforward field changeover. Drum-style cutters mount directly to the scarifier's drive shaft, allowing operators to swap between cutter types on site to match different job requirements.
