Piston Pumps.

GO Industrial stocks pneumatic piston pumps for oil, grease and fluid transfer across automotive workshops, mine sites, service trucks and industrial plants. The range includes Graco Fire-Ball (3:1, 5:1, 10:1, 15:1, 50:1, 75:1 ratios), Graco LD (3:1, 5:1, 50:1) and Piusi P-series pneumatic piston pumps in 3.5:1 and 5.5:1 ratios.

Complete kits are available with cart or drum mounting, hose reels, control handles and meters for turnkey lubrication installations. All units are supplied with manufacturer warranty.

FAQs

Common questions answered.

Five of the questions we hear most often on carpark and street linemarking gear. Full knowledge base on our FAQ page.

  • What is pump ratio?

Pump ratio = output pressure : input air pressure. 1:1 transfer pump outputs same as inlet air. 5:1 outputs 5x (light grease + oil). 20:1 outputs 20x (heavier grease). 50:1 outputs 50x (heavy grease + cold-weather). Pick ratio to match fluid viscosity at operating temperature.

  • Grease pump for AU climate?

Summer typical NLGI 2 grease at 25-35 deg C - 20:1 ratio pump is enough. Winter cold sites (highland, southern AU, refrigerated facility) need 50:1 or 75:1 to push grease at 0-10 deg C. Wrong ratio = grease won't flow + pump strains.

  • Air-driven or electric?

Air-driven for hazardous-area + mobile + multi-use locations - intrinsically safe, runs on shop air supply, stops when not in use. Electric for fixed installation with permanent power + electric-safe environment - higher continuous duty, lower noise.

  • Are complete piston pump kits available?

Yes. Pre-configured Graco LD Pump Kits include the pump, drum cover, bung adapter, control handle and outlet hose in Cart or Drum-Mount configurations. Fire-Ball 300 is also available as a Portable Pail Dispensing Kit.

  • Can I service the piston pumps I purchase?

Yes. Graco Fire-Ball and LD Pump repair kits, spare parts and pump tubes are stocked. Refer to the individual product page for the matching service kit part number.

Piston Pumps

29 piston pumps from Graco and Lincoln for grease transfer, lubricant transfer, oil distribution and high-pressure industrial fluid handling. Air-driven and electric piston pumps from low-ratio (1:1 transfer) to high-ratio (50:1 grease).

Pump ratio explained. Pump ratio = output pressure : input air pressure. 1:1 ratio outputs the same pressure as inlet air (transfer pump). 5:1 outputs 5x inlet air (light grease + oil). 20:1 outputs 20x (heavier grease). 50:1 outputs 50x (heaviest grease + cold-weather). Pick ratio to match the fluid viscosity at operating temperature.

Grease + lubricant. Lincoln + Graco grease pumps cover the 20:1 to 75:1 range. Cold-weather grease (NLGI 2 in winter) needs higher ratio than warm-weather. AU summer typical 20:1; AU winter cold sites 50:1 to 75:1. Wrong ratio = grease won't flow.
