Choosing the Right Paint Hopper
The paint hopper sits between the paint pail and the LineLazer pump and feeds paint into the unit at controlled flow. Hopper sizing drives paint changeover frequency: a 57 L hopper suits carpark and council walk-behind work; a 95 L hopper suits long-line and high-throughput council fleet work. The pail gasket is the standard wear part and should be carried as a spare on every unit.
57 litre hopper for LineLazer line stripers. The Graco 57 Litre Paint Hopper (241104) is the standard fit on LineLazer line stripers running carpark and council walk-behind work. The 15 Gallon Reservoir (278720) is the equivalent imperial-spec reservoir, also approximately 57 L. Both reduce paint changeover interruptions on bay-defining and short-run council work.
95 litre hopper for LineLazer V production work. The Graco LineLazer V Paint Hopper 95 Litre (278452) is the high-volume option on the LineLazer V family. About 50 percent more capacity than the 57 L hopper, which means longer run times between paint pail changes on long-line council and contractor work. The LineLazer V Paint Hopper variant (24U241) covers an alternate LineLazer V fitment.
Pail gasket replacement. The Graco Pail Gasket (278722) is the seal between the paint pail and the hopper neck. It is the most common wear part in the hopper assembly and is the cause of most hopper-side paint leaks. Order one spare on first delivery and one per service interval. Skipping pail gasket replacement is the single biggest source of avoidable hopper-side leaks on infrequent-use units.
