Towable Compressors.

GO Industrial stocks diesel and electric towable compressors for construction, mining, sandblasting and industrial air supply. Trailer-mounted for site-to-site mobility, these units deliver 80-400+ CFM at working pressures from 100 to 200 PSI. Brands include Airman, CAPS and Denyo. All units are road-registerable and supplied with manufacturer warranty.

FAQs

Common questions answered.

The questions we hear most often about this range. Full knowledge base on our FAQ page.

  • How much CFM do I need?

Match CFM to the heaviest air-tool job. Single jackhammer 80-120 CFM. Two jackhammers 175-200 CFM. Sandblasting at 100 PSI through #5 nozzle 80-100 CFM. Multi-tool civil 250-400 CFM. Undersize and pressure drops below tool spec; oversize burns fuel.

  • Diesel-engine why?

Diesel for fuel economy at continuous load and longer service life vs petrol. Tier 4 emissions compliance standard on AU-imported new. Service interval 250-500 hours. Compressor element rotary screw oil-flooded for continuous duty.

  • Towable trailer compliance?

Single-axle braked trailer unit ADR-compliant for AU road tow. Light vehicle tow rating - check the vehicle tow capacity before specifying. Heavier compressors (300-400 CFM) need a tow vehicle rated above standard ute capacity.

  • Service intervals?

Engine oil + filter every 250 hours. Air filter every 500 hours. Compressor oil every 500-1,000 hours. Air-end inspection every 2,000 hours. Skipping compressor oil change is the most common cause of premature air-end failure - cost of failure is far higher than service.

  • Can I use a towable compressor for sandblasting?

Yes, provided the compressor delivers sufficient CFM and pressure for the blast nozzle size. A No. 6 nozzle (3/8") requires approximately 142 CFM at 100 PSI; a No. 8 nozzle (1/2") requires approximately 254 CFM. The compressor must also have an aftercooler and moisture separator to deliver dry air — wet air causes media clumping and flash rust on the blasted surface.

Towable Diesel Air Compressors

14 towable diesel-engine air compressors for construction, mining, civil and road work where high-volume air supply is needed at remote site without three-phase power. Atlas Copco + Aussie Pumps tier covering 80 to 400 CFM at 100-150 PSI. Diesel-engine drive, single-axle braked trailer unit, integrated fuel tank for 8-16 hour run time.

CFM sizing. Match CFM to the air-tool consumption of the heaviest job. Single jackhammer: 80-120 CFM. Two jackhammers: 175-200 CFM. Sandblasting at 100 PSI through a #5 nozzle: 80-100 CFM. Multi-tool civil: 250-400 CFM. Undersize and the air pressure drops below tool spec; oversize and you burn fuel for no gain.

Diesel-engine drive. Towable compressors are diesel-engine driven for fuel economy at continuous load and longer service life vs petrol. Tier 4 emissions compliance is standard on AU-imported new units. Service interval 250-500 hours. Compressor element is rotary screw (oil-flooded) for continuous duty.
