Fireproofing Sprayers
Graco ToughTek and GH Big Rig fireproofing sprayers for spray-applied fire-resistive material (SFRM) work. Cementitious and intumescent fireproofing application on structural steel, ducting and similar fire-rated work.
Portable ToughTek family. ToughTek F340e (portable pumps), ToughTek S340e Piston Pump Package and ToughTek P30X cover the portable fireproofing segment. Suits structural-steel fireproofing on commercial construction sites where the unit needs to move floor-to-floor. F340e Xypex Concentrate compatibility confirmed by Graco technical. S340e does NOT have an integrated air compressor - requires external air supply.
Heavy-duty Big Rig: GH 933 family. Graco GH 933 ES, GH 933 and GH 833 ES Big Rig Gas Hydraulic Sprayers are the heavy-duty fireproofing unit for high-volume, large-area fireproofing work: large warehouses, multi-storey commercial, refinery structural steel. Gas hydraulic drive matches the high-flow, high-pressure demands of cementitious fireproofing. Tip selection on GH 833 Big Rig: 643 or 645 (large orifice for high-build protective coatings and heavy fireproofing).
Intumescent and the King 70:1 alternative. For intumescent fireproofing (e.g. Interchar 3120), Graco King 70:1 or King E60 in the hazardous-area version is the matched unit from the industrial range. LTX527 or LTX327 tips (25 to 27 thousandths orifice) for single-leg intumescent spray. Cross-reference the coating TDS for minimum pressure and tip orifice on every fireproofing quote.
Compliance: AS 1530.4 fire-rating. Cementitious and intumescent fireproofing materials must be applied per the manufacturer's spec sheet for the specific fire-rating (typically AS 1530.4 Fire Resistance Levels). Sprayer pump pressure, tip selection and material temperature all affect the applied coating thickness, which determines the achieved fire-rating. Document the applied thickness per the project quality plan and the manufacturer's spec sheet.
