FAQs

Common questions answered.

Five of the questions we hear most often on carpark and street linemarking gear. Full knowledge base on our FAQ page.

  • Trailer or skid-mount?

Trailer for the contractor running their own dedicated vehicle that tows the unit - graffiti removal van + trailer, dedicated cleaning truck + trailer. Skid-mount for the contractor with a ute tray or flat-bed where the unit drops in and out, freeing the vehicle for other work between cleaning jobs. Cube is the fully-built tank-on-trailer with integrated mounting and water tank in one unit.

  • Hornet vs Senator vs PMG vs Executive on trailer?

    Hornet G2 for mid-commercial trailer (4060 PSI x 15 L/min petrol, 3150 PSI x 15 L/min diesel). Senator G2 JX for high-flow commercial (4060 PSI x 21-31 L/min). PMG G2 V-twin for heaviest commercial trailer (4000 PSI x 26 L/min V-twin). Executive G2 spec is typically truck-mounted; see Pressure Washer Trucks. Match the unit to PSI + flow + tank size.

  • What water tank size?

    600 L for single-shift small commercial. 1000 L for full-shift commercial. 1500 L for multi-site or large-area work. A 15 L/min pump empties 1000 L in 67 minutes at full flow; 31 L/min empties 1000 L in 32 minutes. Size the tank for the longest expected run between water refills.

  • Lead time?

Full custom trailer builds typically 4-16 weeks from order, depending on engine, pump, tank size and accessory layout. Standard skid-mount kits ship faster. Executive G2 + PMG G2 + Cube builds are the longest-lead. Confirm current AU lead times with the GO sales team before customer commitment.

  • How do I maintain pressure washer trailers for long service life?

After each use, flush clean water through the system and wipe down external surfaces. Inspect hoses, fittings and o-rings for wear or cracking before each use. Change pump oil per the OEM schedule (typically every 50-100 hours for petrol units). Store indoors or under cover to prevent UV degradation of hoses and seals. For seasonal storage, run a pump-saver solution through the system to prevent mineral buildup and corrosion. Replace worn nozzles before they affect spray pattern — a worn nozzle increases water consumption and reduces cleaning efficiency.

Pressure Washer Trailers

76 trailer-mounted pressure washer builds + skid-mount kits. Jetwave Hornet G2, Senator G2, Executive G2 and PMG G2 unit configured on a trailer or a mounting skid, with water tank (typically 600-1500 L), pump, engine, hose reels and accessory storage on a single unit. Designed for the contractor running multi-site work daily without site water supply.

Trailer vs skid-mount vs Cube. Trailer builds include a road-rated braked or un-braked trailer unit - ready to tow behind the work vehicle. Skid-mount kits drop into a ute tray or onto a flat-bed truck (Jetwave 'Mounting Skid' configurations). 'Cube' is the Jetwave terminology for the fully-built tank-on-trailer configuration with steel cube water tank and integrated mounting frame.

Unit selection. Hornet G2 unit on trailer for the mid-commercial spec (4060 PSI x 15 L/min petrol or 3150 PSI x 15 L/min diesel). Senator G2 JX unit for high-flow commercial trailer work (4060 PSI x 21-31 L/min). PMG G2 V-twin for the heaviest commercial trailer (4000 PSI x 26 L/min V-twin engine). Executive G2 unit on truck (see Pressure Washer Trucks). Hot-water trailer variants pair Explorer or Hybrid unit with the trailer body.

Water tank sizing. Standard tank sizes on trailer builds: 600 L (single-shift small commercial), 1000 L (full-shift commercial), 1500 L (multi-site or large-area work). Pump flow rate determines tank duration - a 15 L/min pump at full flow empties 1000 L in 67 minutes; a 31 L/min pump empties 1000 L in 32 minutes. Size the tank for the longest expected run between water refills.

Lead times. Full custom trailer builds typically 4-16 weeks lead time from order, depending on engine + pump + tank + accessory spec. Standard skid-mount kits ship faster. Confirm current AU lead times with the GO sales team before customer commitment - Executive G2 + PMG G2 + Cube builds are the longest-lead items.
