  • Why dedicated AdBlue pump?

    AdBlue (DEF) urea solution corrodes standard diesel pump materials. Adam by Piusi uses SS316 / polypropylene wetted parts - urea-compatible. Mandatory for Tier 4 + Euro 6 vehicle servicing.

  • Can I use this for diesel?

    No - reverse contamination: even small AdBlue residue in a pump causes problems if then used on diesel. Keep AdBlue pumps dedicated to AdBlue.

  • Compliance?

    Adam by Piusi is the AU-certified AdBlue dispensing solution. Tier 4 + Euro 6 compliant.

  • What makes Piusi AdBlue equipment different?

    Piusi uses AdBlue-compatible materials throughout their AdBlue product range — seals, hoses, and wetted components are specifically selected to resist the corrosive properties of urea solution. This material compatibility ensures long-term reliability and prevents contamination that can occur with equipment not designed for AdBlue use.

  • What connection types and thread standards are used with adam by piusi?

    Australian fluid handling equipment predominantly uses BSP (British Standard Pipe) threads in sizes from 1/4" to 3" BSP. Some imported equipment uses NPT (National Pipe Thread) — adapters are available but check thread type before connecting. Cam-lock fittings (Type A through F) are standard for quick-connect hose couplings on tanks and bowsers. Flanged connections (ANSI 150#, AS 4087 Table D/E) are used on larger installations. Always verify thread type, size and pressure rating before assembly to prevent cross-threading or leaks.
