FAQs

Common questions answered.

Five of the questions we hear most often on carpark and street linemarking gear. Full knowledge base on our FAQ page.

  • Why Husky?

Graco-owned brand, industry-standard AODD (air-operated double diaphragm) pumps for industrial chemical, slurry, food-grade, hazardous-area. Intrinsically safe in explosive atmosphere.

  • AODD vs centrifugal?

    AODD self-priming + dry-run + deadhead safe. Centrifugal pumps need flooded suction + can't dry-run. AODD right for chemical / slurry / hazardous-area applications.

  • Husky sizes?

1/2 inch / 1 inch / 2 inch / 3 inch port sizes covering 50-1,000+ LPM. Match to flow requirement.

  • Can I get technical advice on Husky products?

Yes. Our team provides product selection guidance based on your specific application requirements. Whether you need help choosing the right product for your project or technical information about compatibility and specifications, we are available via phone, email, or our Brisbane showroom.

  • What connection types and thread standards are used with husky?

Australian fluid handling equipment predominantly uses BSP (British Standard Pipe) threads in sizes from 1/4" to 3" BSP. Some imported equipment uses NPT (National Pipe Thread) — adapters are available but check thread type before connecting. Cam-lock fittings (Type A through F) are standard for quick-connect hose couplings on tanks and bowsers. Flanged connections (ANSI 150#, AS 4087 Table D/E) are used on larger installations. Always verify thread type, size and pressure rating before assembly to prevent cross-threading or leaks.
