FAQs

Common questions answered.

Five of the questions we hear most often on carpark and street linemarking gear. Full knowledge base on our FAQ page.

  • Pro Series vs Magnum vs Ultra vs Mark?

Pro Series is a curated cross-cut spanning the upper Magnum tier (ProX17, ProX19), the Ultra handheld pair (cordless + 230V AC corded), and the AirAssisted Airless FinishPro GX 19. Magnum is residential/light-commercial. Mark V XT, Mark VII, Mark X are the heavier commercial unit above Magnum - higher tip orifice support, higher production volume. Pro Series is for the contractor working at the upper-residential/light-commercial boundary; Mark line is for commercial volume above that.

  • ProX17 or ProX19?

ProX19 supports a slightly larger maximum tip orifice (about 0.021 inch vs 0.019 inch on ProX17) and steps up the pump-to-flow rating. ProX17 covers most residential and light-commercial work; ProX19 is the right pick when the painter is consistently working with heavier coatings or larger tip sizes that bench the ProX17. Both run RAC X tips, both take BlueMax II hose, both rate for daily contractor use.

  • Ultra Handheld cordless or 230V corded?

Cordless (17N221) uses DeWalt 20V MAX batteries - the right pick for site work without mains access (renovation, exterior trim, multi-room residential where the painter is moving through the building). Corded 230V AC is the right pick where mains is always available and the painter doesn't want battery swap-out time. Both use the FlexLiner paint bag system to simplify cup cleaning between paint changes.

  • Is FinishPro GX 19 worth it over pure airless?

If the work is cabinet, furniture, premium millwork or any finish-critical work where the painter wants HVLP-level finish quality at airless-level production speed - yes. FinishPro GX 19 is AirAssisted Airless - airless flow with an air-assist atomisation overlay. Finer finish than pure airless, faster than pure HVLP. For pure-spec HVLP work the stand-alone G40/G15 unit is the right pick.

  • Where do I find spares for these units?

Spares for Magnum ProX17 / ProX19 are in the Magnum Airless Sprayers and Sprayer Accessories & Parts collections (inlet strainer, inlet/outlet valve repair kits, RAC X SwitchTips). Spares for Ultra Cordless / Corded handheld are in the Handheld Airless Sprayers, Spray Tips & Guards and Sprayer Cleaning & Maintenance collections (FlexLiner cup, RAC X tips, Pump Armor). Send unit serial to GO for matched spares pull.

Pro Series Paint Sprayers

Pro Series legacy collection - the GO Industrial-pinned cross-cut of professional Graco airless sprayers for the contractor end of the residential range. Five units cover the mid-tier electric airless lineup: Magnum ProX17 (17H203), Magnum ProX19 (17H210), Ultra Cordless Handheld (17N221), Ultra Corded 230V AC Handheld and FinishPro GX 19 (17H223).

ProX17 + ProX19 are the upper end of the Magnum range - heavier-duty than the X5/X7 with a slightly larger pump, supporting tip range up to about 0.019 inch (ProX17) and 0.021 inch (ProX19). Suit serious DIY through small-contractor weekday work where the Magnum tier is the right cost point.

Ultra Cordless Handheld (17N221) and Ultra Corded 230V AC Handheld are the FlexLiner-system handheld airless sprayers - cabinet finishing, trim, doors, furniture and any application where a wheeled unit is overkill. Cordless variant uses DeWalt 20V MAX battery; corded variant uses mains power.

FinishPro GX 19 (17H223) is the AirAssisted Airless (AAA) unit - airless flow with an air-assist atomisation overlay for finer-finish work than pure airless. Cabinet shops, furniture finishing, premium millwork and any work where the painter wants HVLP-level finish quality at airless-level production speed.
