The Donaldson TRAP Filtered Tank Breather Assembly is designed for use with bulk diesel or lubricant tanks and is rated for a tank fill rate of 1000 lpm. This filtered air breather assembly removes moisture and particulate from the air entering the tank during refuelling operations.
For every litre of liquid dispensed from a tank or drum, a litre of air enters the vessel, laden with moisture and dust. The Donaldson TRAP breather filters the moisture and dust from that incoming air, ensuring the cleanliness and purity of the liquid being stored.
Features
- Dual Head: Two breather heads share the load, so a large tank can be drawn down without starving for air.
- 3 Micron at 97%: Captures 97% of particulate at 3 micron out of the air entering the tank.
- High Air Flow: Rated to 500 litres per minute of air across the assembly.
- Relief Valve: A 0.15 bar relief valve protects the tank if the elements load and air cannot get through fast enough.
- Wide Temperature Band: Rated from -40 C to 93 C, so it works outdoors year round.
