The Basics

General Purpose Socks have been designed to provide a highly absorbent barrier &  prevent liquids from escaping on hard surfaces or down drains. They can also be placed around machines or drums to contain leaks.

These socks have been manufactured with a poly spun-bonded outer layer and contain an organic cellulose fill. They will rapidly absorb hydrocarbon and water-based spills. Socks are colour coded for safety and are easy to mould and shape around leaking equipment or a spill.

Designed for:

  • Indoor & outdoor land-based spills
  • Containing and absorbing fluids including oil, petrol, ethanol, kerosene, brake fluid, mineral spirits, turpentine, water-based fluids and all non-aggressive liquids
  • Creating absorbent barriers around a spill, machinery and drums
