What types of paint and coatings can the GRACO Quickshot II Spray?
The Graco QuickShot II is engineered for excellent architectural versatility on small, fine-finish jobs. It is rated to safely spray water-based, solvent, and flammable coatings. To help users achieve a flawless look across these varied materials, the system comes standard with RAC X FF LP® SwitchTips (Fine Finish Low Pressure), which are optimised to deliver a perfect airless finish at lower pressures.
How does the QuickShot II eliminate paint spitting?
Traditional handheld sprayers occasionally "spit" paint when the trigger is engaged or released, ruining fine finishes. The QuickShot II solves this issue with its NEW Instant-Response Gun, which virtually eliminates spits by moving the fluid shut-off mechanism directly to the tip of the gun. Additionally, to minimize downtime on the job site, the gun features a ProConnect® design that allows for fast, tool-free repairs directly in the field if a component wears out.
How long does it take to clean the sprayer, and how much paint is wasted?
Cleaning is remarkably fast and highly efficient compared to standard architectural setups. The unit features a NEW Quick Flush™ system located directly on the sprayer's Flow Control Dial, allowing users to clean the system 2X faster. Material waste is also exceptionally low; the flexible 1.8-meter hose holds a mere 30 ml of material, meaning very little paint is lost or flushed out during colour changes or post-job cleanup.
