The Piusi SB325 AdBlue™ nozzle is a lightweight, plastic automatic nozzle complete with breakaway stainless steel spout.
The breakaway spout mechanism means that if the vehicle accidentally drives away with the nozzle still positioned in the vehicle's fill point, the spout will detach from the nozzle. This means that damage will be limited to the spout only which can be replaced as a spare part, and the pump system connected to the AdBlue™ storage tank will not be pulled away.
This Piusi AdBlue™ nozzle is an ideal upgrade from a manual nozzle. The nozzle is constructed of plastic but with a sturdy, stainless steel spout, this nozzle is a lightweight, reliable alternative to the completely stainless steel automatic AdBlue™ nozzles on the market.
There is also a version of the SB325 with added magnetic miss-filling spout to prevent AdBlue from being put in the diesel tank. This ensures that the AdBlue™ nozzle can only release fluid into a fill point that has a partnering magnetic adaptor fitted into it. By having magnetic adaptor fitted in the AdBlue™ fill point only, the AdBlue™ nozzle is unable to dispense into the diesel tank.
Features
- Break-Away Spout: If a vehicle drives off with the nozzle still in the tank, the spout detaches instead of tearing the hose apart, and a new spout clips straight on.
- Automatic Shut-Off: Closes on its own when the tank fills, so AdBlue does not spill down the vehicle.
- Removable Hold-Open Latch: Three hold-open positions, and the latch lifts out entirely where site rules do not allow it.
- Replaceable Spouts: Spouts are a stocked wear item, so a damaged nozzle does not mean a new nozzle.
- Misfill Protection: A magnetic spout version is available so the nozzle will only engage a matched AdBlue filler.
