Total Control: GO Industrial Delivers Turnkey Fuel Management for Centurion Richlands

When a national logistics leader like Centurion Transport commissions a new depot, every operational component must drive efficiency and reliability. For their new state-of-the-art yard in Richlands, Queensland, Centurion partnered with GO Industrial and CEA Petroleum to design and install a complete home-based refuelling facility.

The objective was to create a future-proof system that would provide absolute control over their fuel expenditure, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure strict environmental compliance.

The Challenge

Like any large-scale logistics operator, Centurion faced significant fleet management hurdles. They needed a solution that could provide stringent cost control over fuel expenses, accurate monitoring of consumption, and minimized vehicle downtime caused by inefficient refuelling processes or breakdowns. They sought a comprehensive, compliant, and secure refuelling solution that would provide transparency and operational excellence.

The GO Industrial Solution

GO Industrial delivered a state-of-the-art, turnkey refuelling facility, integrating best-in-class hardware and intelligent software into a single, seamless system.

The heart of the facility is a colossal 110,000-litre "Con 110" Self-Bunded Diesel Tank. This AS1940 compliant unit features a "tank-within-a-tank" design, offering unparalleled environmental protection by ensuring full containment. Its containerized form factor also allowed for rapid transport and deployment on-site.

This central tank feeds a high-performance dispensing system, engineered for the demands of a heavy-duty fleet:

  • Four high-flow 150 L/min diesel nozzles to drastically cut refuelling times.

  • Two dedicated AdBlue nozzles to service modern fleet requirements.

  • Robust 316 stainless steel press-fit pipework, FE Pro smart controllers, and pulse meters to ensure long-term, reliable, and precise fuel flow.

To meet the need for total security and transparency, the entire facility is controlled by the Smart Fill Fluids Management System. This system, seamlessly integrated with Centurion's Everlink automatic tank gauge, requires a unique driver fob activation for every single transaction. This captures granular data on who took fuel, which truck it went into, and the exact quantity, practically eliminating the risk of fuel theft.

As a complete turnkey project, the solution included a full safety fit-out with heavy-duty safety bollards, fire extinguishers, and spill kits. Custom compliance plates with QR codes and support decals give the Centurion team instant access to asset data and the GO Industrial help desk.

The Outcome

The new refuelling facility at Centurion Richlands delivered immediate and substantial benefits, transforming their fleet management:

  • Optimised Cost Control: With the Smart Fill system providing iron-clad security, fuel theft is no longer a concern. This, combined with transparent consumption data, gives Centurion powerful control over their fuel budget.

  • Boosted Operational Efficiency: The high-flow 150 L/min nozzles have dramatically slashed refuelling times, minimising vehicle downtime and maximising fleet productivity.

  • Superior Environmental Stewardship: The self-bunded, AS1940-compliant tank provides total peace of mind and reinforces Centurion’s commitment to environmental best practice.

  • Unparalleled Operational Transparency: The FMS delivers granular data for every transaction, making fuel reconciliation and informed decision-making simpler than ever.

Backed by GO Industrial’s national site team for proactive maintenance and rapid-response support, Centurion Transport has a seamless, reliable, and future-proof solution for their refuelling operations.
