Self Sharpening Abrasives!? Unboxing Mirka Galaxy ft. Painting by Josh

Yep, you read it correctly. Self-sharpening abrasives; the more you sand, the more the abrasive retains its grit.

We've teamed up with @Painting by Josh to put the new Mirka Self-Sharpening Galaxy Abrasives to the test. Oh man... we are impressed! The longevity, scratch pattern and price point of this new product is out of this world.

Mirka Galaxy Abrasives are currently available in Australia, from 40 grit through to 2000 grit. In packs of 50 or 100, choose the grit that's right for you.

Finding a balance between affordability and quality is difficult, however, Mirka have absolutely nailed the formula. We recommend exploring Galaxy for a wide range of automotive, woodworking, marine, painting & decorating, epoxy tables, furniture and most general purpose sanding.

Even better? You don't have to be locked into a Mirka Deros to use these abrasives - the Multi-Hole configuration allows you to use these abrasives across multiple brands; DeWalt, Festool, Bosch, Makita, Milwauke etc.
