Applications

Valcomp 46 is recommended for the use in rotary vane and screw type compressors. They are also suitable for the lubrication of reciprocating type compressors where these viscosity grades are specified.

Valcomp 46 is blended from selected base oils and can be used in compressors operating with discharge temperature of up to 220 C.

        Valvoline™ Valcomp Compressor Oil is a range of oils specially developed for the lubrication of rotary and reciprocating air compressors. They contain an advanced additive system to give superior antioxidant, anti-corrosion and anti-foam properties. Valcomp Compressor Oils are available in ISO 32, 46, 68 and 100 grades. Valcomp is recommended for use in industrial and mobile applications, operating under mild or severe conditions.
