Today's Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) emissions control systems require clean Diesel Exhaust Fluid (AdBlue) for precise dosing and complete atomisation. Contamination from transfer and storage, or corrosion from incompatible materials, can prevent the SCR system from getting the clean AdBlue it needs for proper operation.
The Donaldson AdBlue filter catches contaminants before they reach your vehicle or equipment and the onboard AdBlue filter. Clean AdBlue ensures proper function of the SCR, extends the life of the onboard filter, and helps turn NOx from exhaust into harmless nitrogen and water vapour.
AdBlue is highly corrosive, so all pipe fittings must be compatible with AdBlue. Most plastics and stainless steel are acceptable, while carbon steel, zinc, aluminium, brass and copper are not recommended.
Features
- Fine Filtration: Captures particulate down to 1 micron at Beta 5000, a 99.98% capture rate, so the dosing module receives clean fluid.
- Stainless Construction: A 316 stainless steel body and EPR O-ring stand up to AdBlue, which corrodes carbon steel, zinc, aluminium, brass and copper.
- Knife Edge Seal: A precise knife-edge internal seal holds pressure to 20.7 bar without weeping at the bowl joint.
- Integrated Gauge Ports: Two 1/4 inch NPT ports sit upstream and downstream, so differential pressure and fluid samples are read without adding fittings.
- Serviceable Element: The element changes out with the supplied filter wrench and is replaced on its own, so the housing stays plumbed in the line.
- Dispenser Rated: Sized for AdBlue dispensers up to 38 litres per minute, with a 1/4 inch NPT drain plug for bowl draining at service.
