When to Replace the Filter
You must replace the filter when any of the following occur:

Time-Based (General Rule): Every 12 months is the industry standard for annual maintenance and testing. Heavy daily users (e.g., floor grinding, cutting fibre cement) should aim for 6 months.

Performance Drop: If suction remains poor even after the "auto-clean" cycle has run or after you have replaced the collection bag.

Visual Damage: If you see any tears, holes, or deformation in the filter pleats.

Audible/Visual Alarms: Mirka M-Class extractors have a flow sensor. If the alarm sounds continuously despite a fresh bag and clear hose, the filter is clogged and must be replaced.
