500L/pm @ 116PSI - great workshop screw compressor. 8 Bar / 116PSI max operation 10 Bar / 145PSI, high pressure!

The High pressure 5.5HP screw is finally here, giving an impressive 500 litres of free air delivery at 116PSI (8BAR). If you have a small tyre shop that requires truck tyre inflation, this is the air compressor for you!

Belt driven by a 5.5HP three phase motor with an oil injected air-end, allowing a 99% duty cycle. This means you can run this air compressor continuously, unlike piston air compressors that demand a duty cycle. Suited for the industrial workshop (1-2 man) wanting that greater air flow that allows for a constant demand.

The overall size of the air compressor is also impressive, fitted on top of a 110L tank measuring at 1100MM X 530MM X 1230MM. This makes it one of the most compact air compressors. When in operation it is also very quiet which is a massive feature in smaller workshops.

The electronic controller will operate the machine and show you all the information you need with live feedback. The controller will also show you the service intervals and alarm when a service is required. This is critical to keeping your air compressor in top shape.
Being only 5.5HP this machine has a small AMP draw making if perfect for smaller shops where a larger screw isn’t needed.

With the Peerless Rotary Screw Compressors, we test each model prior to being sent out from our factory for a minimum of 4 hours. The quality assurance inspector then dates and signs the service label notifying of when the next service is required.

Services on Screw compressors are based on hourly usage. The first inspection is in 500 hours of use, this is like a new car inspection. This is to make sure that all seals, valves, filters and oil condition is all working correctly. From there the services are based on the following;

2000 Hours
4000 Hours
6000 Hours
8000 Hours and so on.

The services are also based on the environmental conditions – if it is in a fairly dirty environment, services maybe at sooner intervals.

Most sites where an air compressor is installed you may have your own maintenance team, if this is so, yes you can service your own air compressor. This does not void your warranty if serviced correctly under the manufacture guidelines.
