Peerless HQ-Air variable speed rotary screw compressors are built to cut running costs. Rather than running continuously when air is not being drawn, the machine matches its output to demand, slowing to the air actually required without pressure fluctuation between load and unload so a constant pressure is held (around 5% energy for every bar).
The high efficiency motor and the regulation between minimum and maximum speed play a large part in the energy savings and give a quick return on investment. The unit uses an inverter motor on a screw base design.
