  • Why microfibre?

    Microfibre rollers hold more paint per dip than standard woven covers, lay off cleaner, and reduce roll marks. On waterborne paint - which is the majority of Australian interior work - microfibre is the contractor pick for finish-critical wall and ceiling work. The Two Fussy Blokes blend is purpose-built for Australian trade paint, which means the cover lays off paint the way the painter expects without dragging or stipple-marking.

  • Which nap for which job?

    5 mm for the smoothest finish - doors, trim, gloss enamel, very smooth walls. 10 mm for standard interior plaster walls and ceilings. 15 mm for render, stipple and textured walls - reaches the profile that shorter naps can't. Pick the shortest nap that still gives full one or two coat coverage; longer naps stipple more.

  • Are 50 mm and 100 mm mini rollers worth it?

    Yes - for cabinet doors, trim, narrow panels, sash, behind radiators and hard-to-reach edges. A full 230 mm sleeve doesn't fit those areas; a mini roller does, and leaves a finish much closer to the main wall than a brush would. Mini rollers come in the same 5, 10 and 15 mm nap depths so the painter can match the mini-roller finish to the main wall finish.

  • Glass scraper: what blades does it take?

    Two Fussy Blokes Glass Scraper 100 mm uses standard razor blade refills (the same blade type used by most professional glass scrapers). Replace blades when the edge dulls visibly or when scratch marks appear on glass during use. Carry a pack of replacement blades on the truck for sash window cleanup work.

Width selection. 230 mm is the standard interior wall and ceiling roller width. 270 mm covers more area per stroke and suits production work on large walls and ceilings. 360 mm is the wide commercial roller for warehouse, gymnasium and very large ceiling work. The 50 and 100 mm mini rollers cover trim, sash, door panels, hard-to-reach edges and detail work where a full-size roller won't fit.
