Banlaw FillSafe overfill protection systems ensure safe, fast, reliable filling, with zero pressure build-up in the tank. Banlaw manufactures both mechanical and electronic solutions for tank overfill protection, catering to storage tanks and diesel-powered machines of all sizes. All products are designed to protect valuable machine assets, providing the widest variety of zero tank pressure overfill protection systems available on the market.

The Banlaw patented FillSafe Zero mechanical tank overfill protection system enables safe, high-speed diesel refuelling, and is cost-efficient to install on a wide range of vehicles, and stationary tanks.

A Banlaw FillSafe Zero system consists of a:

Flow Control Valve,
Level Sensor
Pilot Line.

The Flow Control Valve closes when a Level Sensor detects that the tank is full, stopping the flow of diesel from entering the tank. The Banlaw FillSafe Zero Range is configurable to allow a choice of either an internal or external pilot line.

Product variants are available that fit directly into a 2” shell, refuel at up to 1000lpm, include a Dry Break Receiver, or are provided with process connections for in-line deployment.

Overview

The Banlaw FillSafe Zero non-level-sensing vents are designed specifically for plant equipment with multiple fuel tanks that are filled via a common refuelling point. It is installed in the ‘primary’ tank, and connected to a Level Sensor in the ‘auxiliary’ tank.

Built-in pressure relief valves are available in either 16psi or 7psi to suit system design. This vent features a top float to maintain system ullage in the primary fuel tank. Anti-spill roll over protection feature is built into the head.
