Graco's factory air valve service kit for the Husky 2150 stainless steel air-operated double diaphragm pump (model DVD311 and any 2150 configuration with a stainless steel centre housing, identified by a V in the second digit of the model code, e.g. DV4, DVD, DVP, DVR).

Kit 255061 refreshes the complete air valve cartridge in one service: pilot block, air valve block, stainless steel air valve plate, cover gasket, three o-rings, and two u-cup packings. Fit it on first scheduled service of a Husky 2150 SS, or any time the pump cycles unevenly, stalls under load, leaks air from the muffler cover, or ices up on cold air supply.

This is the only air valve repair kit specified by Graco for stainless steel centre housing 2150 pumps. Aluminium centre housing 2150 pumps use kit 236273 instead. Contact us if you need help confirming which kit fits your pump.

Who it's not for: aluminium centre housing 2150 pumps (use 236273), or Husky pumps in any other size (1050, 1590, 2200, 3300 etc. each use their own AVRK).

Common questions.

How do I know if 255061 is the right kit for my Husky 2150?
Check the second digit of your pump model code on the serial plate. If it is V (e.g. DV4311, DVD311, DVP315, DVR315), your pump has a stainless steel centre housing and takes kit 255061. If it is F or G (e.g. DF3525, DFC311, DGD315), the centre housing is aluminium and you need kit 236273 instead.
What is in the kit?
Seven distinct parts: one acetal air valve block, one acetal pilot block, one stainless steel air valve plate, one santoprene cover gasket, one nitrile o-ring, two nitrile u-cup packings, and two buna-N o-rings. Refer to Graco manual 308368 for assembly diagrams.
When should I fit it?
Graco lists the air valve as a preventive maintenance item alongside the diaphragm and ball/seat service. Fit it whenever the pump shows symptoms of valve wear: uneven cycling, stalling at the end of stroke, air leaking from the muffler cover, or air valve icing on cold or wet compressed air. Many service teams fit one AVRK for every two diaphragm rebuilds.
Does the kit include grease for assembly?
Lithium-based grease is required for the u-cups, o-rings, and pilot pin per the assembly instructions. The 255061 kit does not include a grease tube, so have a standard lithium grease on hand before stripping the air valve.
Will this fit a Husky 1040 or Husky 1590?
Graco lists 255061 as compatible with Husky 1040, 1590, and 2150 pumps with stainless steel centre sections. In our Australian range we stock the SS centre section variant only on the 2150 (DVD311). If you have a 1040 or 1590 SS, the kit will fit, but contact us before ordering so we can verify the pump model code matches.
Is GO Industrial an authorised Graco service centre?
Yes. We are an authorised Graco warranty repairer and service centre. If you would prefer we fit the kit rather than do it in-house, send the pump head to our Brisbane workshop and we will turn it around for you.
