Repair kit 238339 rebuilds the paint spray gun on RoadLazer RoadPak and RoadPak HD striping systems. It suits both the double acting 24G980 and the single acting 238377. The kit carries the gun needle and valve seat, the full packing stack with its gland and copper gasket, the protection tube and two nitrile o-rings, ten pieces in all.
Rebuild the gun when it keeps spraying after the trigger air drops, will not spray with good air and fluid pressure, or shows paint at the protection tube. Those point to a worn or binding needle, seat or packings.
One kit rebuilds one gun. The tip guard and spray tips are not included. Strip and rebuild steps, including packing order, are in manual 308613 below.
