iTalo is the heavy duty roll. High tack solvent adhesive on a waterproof crepe backing, made in Italy, and it is built to hold on surfaces the rest of the range will not: uneven substrates, rough steel, industrial plant and automotive panels.

It is waterproof and it resists 90 degrees for 30 minutes, which is what makes it the tape for automotive refinishing and anywhere heat is part of the process. Suitable for all paint types.

The trade off is UV life. iTalo carries a 3 day rating, the shortest in the range, so it is a mask-and-shoot tape rather than something you leave on a facade for a fortnight. Get it on, get the coating down, get it off. Three widths on 50m rolls.

Common questions.

Why is the UV rating only 3 days?
Because iTalo trades UV life for grip and heat resistance. It is a high tack solvent tape built to hold on rough and uneven surfaces and to survive 90 degrees. That chemistry does not also give you a long sun rating. Mask, coat, remove. If you need the tape to sit for weeks, use Envo at 30 plus days or iGecko at 180 plus.
Is this suitable for automotive refinishing?
Yes, that is the intended use along with commercial and industrial work. It is waterproof, high tack and rated to 90 degrees for 30 minutes.
Will it hold on rough steel or render?
Yes. Strong adhesion on uneven surfaces is what the high tack solvent adhesive is for. For render and masonry specifically, also look at the Japanese Cloth Render tape and the ProMask Korean Render Cloth tape, which are purpose built for it.
Will high tack lift the surface underneath?
It can on delicate or freshly painted surfaces, which is not what this tape is for. On recently painted work use the Envo Delicate Purple, which is the low tack option.
