Kraft masking paper with the tape already on it, in a dispenser with a cutting edge built in. This is the way into taped masking without buying a hand masker.
The tape on the edge is iQuip's 18mm Envo Tape, rated to 30 plus days of UV with clean release and no residue. You run the dispenser along the top of a skirting or a benchtop, press the tape down and cut. One pass, one hand, no separate taping.
Two widths on 25m rolls. Keep the dispenser and order refills from then on. If you are masking all day every day, the 355mm dispenser with plain kraft paper is the faster and cheaper system at volume, but for a few backup rolls on site or a single job this is the simpler buy.
