  • Pump O-Ring PTFE: what fits my unit?

    Graco Pump O-Ring PTFE 108526 covers the 190 PC Express through Ultra Max II 595 PC range - the most-stocked pump O-ring in the Graco Ultra family. For Magnum, FinishPro GX or industrial unit, the matched O-ring spec differs. Send unit serial to confirm fit. The PTFE material handles both waterborne and solvent paint chemistry.

  • When do I need a carbide seat?

    Carbide Seat Kits are designed for abrasive-material unit use - texture, plaster, mortar, render, drywall mud and similar high-wear materials. The carbide resists abrasive wear better than standard valve seats and extends service interval significantly on Mark V XT, Mark X HD and ToughTek unit. Use carbide on any abrasive-material unit; standard seat for paint-only work.

  • Pump housing washer 115099: what is it for?

    Graco Pump Housing Washer (115099) is the spacer / sealing washer in the pump assembly. Standard hardware replacement during pump rebuild. Carry one set per service interval; replace when assembling or rebuilding the pump (re-using a worn washer reduces clamping force and can cause pump-side leaks).

  • Valve pistons: when to replace?

    Replace the valve piston when wear shows on the seating surface, when pump bypass becomes persistent (paint pressure drops during continuous spray) and replacing packings alone does not restore performance, or when the piston has been rebuilt repeatedly.   • Vortex pump on Ultra Max II + Mark V XT: how does in-house repacking work?

    The Vortex pump cartridge pre-packed system replaces individual packing stacking and oiling. The worn cartridge is removed, the new cartridge (pre-packed at the factory) is fitted, the pump is back in service. No individual packing stacking in correct order required, no Graco service agent visit needed. The Extreme Rod abrasion-resistant composite resists pump-rod scoring that ends standard piston-pump service life. Net effect: packings last around 6 times longer than the standard piston-pump system, and repacking is in-house.
