Watch the clean-up
Six steps, start to finish.
Flushed with turps after an oil based paint. Use water after a water based paint. Check your manual for the full procedure.
1. Relieve the pressure
Pressure down, prime valve on.
2. Wipe off leftover paint
Grab a rag and get it all off.
3. Fill a bucket to flush
Water or turps to match your paint.
4. Flush through the pump
Until the paint runs thin.
5. Flush the hose and tip
Clear out every last bit of paint.
6. Store with Pump Armor
Run it through until it turns blue.
After every job
Five steps before it goes back in the van.
1. Relieve the pressure.
Follow the pressure relief procedure and lock the trigger before you touch the tip, filters or hose.
2. Flush until it runs clear.
Water for water based paint, a compatible fluid for oil based.
3. Clean the filters.
Clean and inspect the handpiece filter and the sprayer filter, and replace any that are damaged. Check the inlet strainer every day you spray.
4. Finish with Pump Armor.
Flushed with water? Flush again with Pump Armor to prevent freezing and corrosion.
5. Top up the TSL.
Before the next job, top up the Throat Seal Liquid at the fill point.
Never hold a leak with your hand or a rag. An injection injury needs a hospital straight away.

A bench job
Paint at the top of the pump, pressure that fades, or it won’t prime after you’ve checked the suction side. A pump repair kit and the manual will usually sort it.
Our job
Electrical faults, a motor that won’t run, pressure that won’t regulate, or still no pressure after a repack. Bring it in.
We're an authorised Graco service and warranty agent. Bring it to Deception Bay or message us the model and serial.
