The purple roll is the low tack one. Same Envo acrylic adhesive system, dialled back so it holds a line on surfaces that a standard tape would damage: wallpaper, and paint that has gone off but has not fully cured.
Low tack does not mean it bleeds. The flat paper backing still lays down flat and still cuts a razor sharp line. It is also waterproof and carries a 60 plus day UV rating, double the window on standard green Envo Tape.
Remove it once the paint is dry. Two widths on 50m rolls, 24mm and 36mm, and it suits all paint types.
