FAQs

Common questions answered.

Five of the questions we hear most often on carpark and street linemarking gear. Full knowledge base on our FAQ page.

  • Why Banlaw dry-break?

Standard couplings spill fluid on disconnect. Banlaw dry-break seals both sides - zero spill, zero loss. Required on mine + military + high-volume fuel transfer.

  • Application?

Mining + heavy industrial + military fuel transfer where dry-break is mandatory. Also: tank-top quick connect for permanent storage, refuel + defuel kits for vehicle fleet.

  • AU-developed?

Yes - Banlaw is Australian-developed + manufactured. The dry-break standard for AU mining + commercial fuel transfer.

  • Does GO Industrial stock Banlaw parts?

Yes, we stock Banlaw dry-break receivers, receiver caps, vents, vent servicing kits, and refuelling accessories. Our team can assist with part identification and system compatibility for your Banlaw installation.

  • What connection types and thread standards are used with banlaw?

Australian fluid handling equipment predominantly uses BSP (British Standard Pipe) threads in sizes from 1/4" to 3" BSP. Some imported equipment uses NPT (National Pipe Thread) — adapters are available but check thread type before connecting. Cam-lock fittings (Type A through F) are standard for quick-connect hose couplings on tanks and bowsers. Flanged connections (ANSI 150#, AS 4087 Table D/E) are used on larger installations. Always verify thread type, size and pressure rating before assembly to prevent cross-threading or leaks.

Banlaw

Banlaw is the AU-developed industrial dry-break fluid coupling + fuel transfer brand - the standard for mining + heavy industrial + military fuel transfer where dry-break (no-spill, no-loss) coupling is mandatory. 76 products covering Banlaw dry-break couplings, refuel + defuel + tank top + fuel transfer kits.

Dry-break advantage. Standard quick-couplings spill fluid on disconnect. Banlaw dry-break couplings seal both sides on disconnect - zero spill, zero loss. Required on mine sites, military bases and any high-volume fuel transfer where spill is unacceptable.

Coverage. Dry-break couplings (various sizes), refuel kits, defuel kits, fluid identification + lockout / tagout, tank-top fuel transfer assemblies.
