Repair kit 238340 rebuilds the bead spray gun on RoadLazer RoadPak and RoadPak HD striping systems. It suits both the double acting 24G979 and the single acting 238338. The kit carries the gun needle, the seal nut with its packing nut and needle seal, the protection tube and the o-rings.

Rebuild the gun when it keeps dropping beads after the trigger air drops, or will not fire with good air pressure. Those point to a worn or binding needle or seal.

One kit rebuilds one gun. Valve seats (nozzles) are not included and are sold as seat kits by size. Service steps are in manual 308612 below.

Needles, seats, packings and o-rings are wear parts. They are not covered by warranty in normal use and should be replaced as part of routine gun servicing. Manufacturing defects are covered by Graco's standard 12 month warranty from date of sale. GO Industrial is an Authorised Graco Warranty Repairer and Service Centre.

Which guns does this kit suit?
The RoadPak double acting bead gun 24G979 and single acting bead gun 238338, as fitted to RoadLazer RoadPak and RoadPak HD striping systems. One kit rebuilds one gun.
What is in the kit?
Gun needle, seal nut with packing nut and needle seal, protection tube and four o-rings. The C20179 o-ring is only used on the double acting gun.
Does it include a valve seat?
No. Valve seats are sold as kits with their o-ring: 17V103 (0.170), 238663 (0.203), 238666 (0.234), 238664 (0.280), 238665 (0.344) and 243668 (0.420). Use 0.280 or larger for reflective beads and double drop.
How do I know the gun needs a rebuild?
The gun keeps dropping beads after the trigger air drops, or will not fire with good air pressure. Check the air lines and clear the orifice first, then rebuild.
Can GO Industrial service it for me?
