Off-the-shelf works for carparks and council back-streets. Once you're tendering on highway, airport, or large mine pavement, the spec gets specific. Reflectivity targets, bead types, multi-colour application, on-the-fly skip-line. That's where a custom long line truck earns its keep.

Build and integrate

What does a typical long line truck cost?

Wide range. A 1-pump RoadPak slide-in on an existing ute is the entry point. A full 2-pump HD rig with custom tray, dual bead tanks, Skip-Line guidance, camera array, and operator station can sit at $300,000 to $450,000 inc GST depending on options. Every build is quoted to spec. We don't sell off-the-shelf.

Do you supply the truck or just the rig?

Either. We can spec and build the rig onto your existing truck, ute tray, or trailer, or work through a partner to source a host vehicle. Most contractors prefer to supply their own host vehicle so the operator already knows how it drives.

What's the typical lead time?

8 to 12 weeks from spec sign-off, depending on options. Long-lead items like custom gun arms, bead tanks, and the Skip-Line controller drive the schedule. We give you a milestone view at quote time so you can plan around it.

Can I finance a build?

Yes. We work with a LeaseGO broker who can help organise financing options if you need them. Chattel mortgage, lease, or rental terms suited to a custom build. Talk to us during quoting and we'll loop them in.

Who commissions the truck and trains my operators?

Our workshop team. The same techs who built the rig come to your yard for a full operator handover. Walk-over, safety, operation, troubleshooting, maintenance. Travel and one day on site is included in every build.

What ongoing service do you offer after delivery?

Authorised Graco service and warranty across QLD, NSW, and VIC. On-site servicing, breakdown call-outs, and workshop drop-offs at Deception Bay. Spare parts kits available for common wear items so you can do basic field service yourself.
